BIM Execution Plan
The BIM Execution Plan (BEP) is prepared during the early stages of a project to define how BIM will be applied to meet the agreed objectives, requirements and deliverables.
The document establishes participant roles, planned BIM uses, expected deliverables, modeling and documentation standards, and the procedures for multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection.
As a key reference for project management and development, the BEP guides the teams involved regarding responsibilities, processes, information workflows, and criteria for model production and sharing. Once approved by the client, it also supports deliverable monitoring and review.
